Buddy of mine sent me this Pic this morning. Pretty cool set up.
Fire season in the PNW getting started, not excited about that.

I've worked with those units several times up in Alaska and northern Montana. They're pretty handy when you're in an area where there's not much surface water.

I never got to work with one on a tracked undercarriage, but I worked with a few on JD and Cat wheeled frames. They were great for working little spots off rough cat line where engines and tenders couldn’t go.

@Evansaw
Where did you get the lanyard ring on your 201t. Looks robust and I like how it's oriented.

Maybe I should ask how you like it.
Hi i got it in Holland during my visit in January when was fresh released but i m sure now it's common

Really robust and can even fit with the smaller dmm biners at the side small holes.

It's called Graviton if you need one I can link you with my friends store at Holland

@rogue60 @Trains @deye223 On that dozer with the hook above the blade, ya'll think that was a clamp?

Thanks
Help load logs was common to just have a Dozer no loader or skidder.
We call em a dump you guy's call em a landing ya would use a dozer push up a loading ramp and load the log trucks with the dozer aswell as snigging logs (you guy's call it skidding logs) Dozers did it all.

IMG_3323.jpegIMG_3325.jpegIMG_3328.jpeg300 plus years old Walnut

Gaffs couldn't get inside, pure concrete on bark but many dried or rotten branches
Can't be trusted at all

always hanging on 2 separate lifelines, felt a bit like circus

I love how simple, yet effective this process is. No need to overthink it - just use what you have.

We organised a 6 days training course for Bucket Truck chainsaw operators and we trained the newly employed people
Focus on safety importance cause they work at Utility line clearing of Mid Voltage that's 22.000volts

Myself and another guy were the Trainers.
I also brought for fun the 064 hybrid and the 064 Scarr restored for me
