Random: I wonder how a skidder would do in sand dunes. Bit heavy I think.
We have some “sand hills” around here, nothing like straight sand dunes, but very sandy soil, and they do just fine. I would be willing to bet it would stay on top until you broke traction, then it would dig until it hit the bottom..

The Mrs. brought our youngest (3 yrs) out to the job site this morning. They got there just in time to watch me tip one over on the edge of a pasture. He soaked in every second of being in the skidder - telling me the whole time what to do and how it all works. Bonus points to the Mrs for hooking up the choker so I could stay in with him!
