I had plans to go to the Oregon Logging conference with my father in-law and my daughter asked if she could go at the last minute, how could I say no to that . I only have one more year with her until she graduates. We all had a great time and ran into a lot of friends. Stopped by and visited my buddy who wrenches for the local Link belt / Tigercat dealer and she got to run the Tigercat 855, she was pretty excited.

My grandpa had jobs toward the end where he had to get up at 0230 and do a 16-hour run for a specialty load. It's a very challenging gig that way.

10-4 JJ,
Most of my friends drive log truck or dump truck and I do all the engine work on most there trucks. They live and breath trucks, must be all the window time and squaking, I like them to death and they would do anything for anyone, the friends that you want around.
Years ago when I was working swing shift, I would pass my buddies at midnight heading out for the landing while I was making my way home from work not many friends you could call in those hours just to BS, it was fun. These are the same guys you would see that night at are kids baseball games until dark
Hard workers to say the least.
