It’s kinda hard to see, but there’s a harvester there. Miller Timber doing some tethering with there Ponsse up Thunder Mountain.

Doesn’t look steep enough to need to be tethered.

There are some steeper spots out of the picture, but I’m not sure why he’s using it there to be honest.

Very, very cool. I've spent a lot of time there, cutting and hunting. I shot my very first deer up there in 1984 with my uncle.

If I had to bet it’s a way to make the state/land owner feel good with less ground pressure.

Larch! Definitely. The green is the white spruce. They have nice pine up there. They just broke a February record of the coldest Feb day in the UK since 1956 at -23c , And Coldest day since 1995. That's attractive .

Very, very cool. I've spent a lot of time there, cutting and hunting. I shot my very first deer up there in 1984 with my uncle.

It’s a pretty cool area for sure.
