A buddy sent me this says the trailer was stretched out to 48’ and had to go through the scales around Molalla when they were closed in 1976.

I have never used one unfortunately. But, it looks like the wheel is on backwards. If you flipped it around the wheel will grind in the natural slope of the raker instead of grinding it flat, as it is now.

It’s not flat right now it has some angle, into it and with the Doug fir normally after the first tree of the day the chain has smoothed out.
