I have never used one unfortunately. But, it looks like the wheel is on backwards. If you flipped it around the wheel will grind in the natural slope of the raker instead of grinding it flat, as it is now.

It’s not flat right now it has some angle, into it and with the Doug fir normally after the first tree of the day the chain has smoothed out.
