I am currently using a Carlton File-O-Plate, but I’m thinking about setting up a round grinder for depth gauges.

I am currently using a Carlton File-O-Plate, but I’m thinking about setting up a round grinder for depth gauges.

Could also double as a gullet grinder, we’ve been using an Oregon 511 for a lot of years with good success. If I was going to setup a new one it’d be a super jolly the hydraulic vise is a nice addition it’s what I use on the harvester chains it really speeds up the process.

File-O-Plate for me too, but I'm setting up one of those cheap Harbor Freight grinders just to do depth gauges.

That is showing 60 with a standard wheel, right now I have a CBN wheel on from memory it’s set at 75 to 80 since the wheel is 90 degrees.
