Nothing like being on the mainlines, are the ones down there in bound/out bound for call out or Right/Wrong way call out for the mile markers down there Randy?

When I started prowling the Washington Olympic Peninsula, up in the hills Elk Scouting and Firewood cutting, the best thing I did was to put a CB radio in the pickup. Saved my butt many a time! Loaded trucks coming down the hill cannot stop!! One side of the road overlooks a canyon and the other side is carved out of the hillside. No room to pass!

Each road has a dedicated channel, marked with a sign. And signs for mile markers.

"9 mile empty" unloaded coming up the hill

"11 mile loaded" Loaded logger coming down the hill. Meaning all uphill traffic better pull off in the next wide spot of the road now!
