That's an amazing effort Randy well done my friend looks like it took a bit of organization but looks like you pulled it off with easeThis was a two day GTG. When I went to feed my calves Friday morning the Missouri Chainsaw Mafia was standing around over there looking for someone to race.
Next year we'll do about the same thing, only with pork butts, deer, and beef on the smoker. Too much work having to kill and scrape a whole pig.
I'm thinking we had 70 - 80 folks counting kids and locals.
Yep. That was a gift.
There's a 50 page conspiracy PM that a bunch of members were in on.
The first saw I ever owned was a sand cast Poulan, and I collect them. These guys really blew my mind when they handed it to me.
@Definitive Dave was the ring leader. @Milkman31 supplied the saw. @Glock37 did the powder and cleanup. Modified Mark did the restoration. @Hedgerow came up with the 7/16 pitch chain and filed it to a razor's edge. Dozens of members were in on this.![]()

It was dark when that happened. Only 661 I ran was Dave's in the cants. I made about 3 cuts that weren't in cants.I did run a MS661 I built for @treesmith a little bit too. I tried a few new things on it......and it really made good power.
Really glad you enjoyed yourself James Iam so jealousThank you Randy and everyone behind the scenes who put this together. I had s great time. Everyone I met was top knotch good company!

I missed all that. I walked up to the barn to get coffee a half dozen times and ran one saw on the way someone handed me.I got it out while you guys were doing the chain races. @hseII was keeping an eye on it for me.

What sort of % gains would you be at now compared to earlier ones you have doneIt took me trying a lot of different things to get them to this point. I'm not done yet.![]()
