The 394 ran well. 3 tanks worth :). She pulled a 36" with a 9 pin rim pretty well. Hinerman ran it in the 6 cube class with a hedgerow chain and did well until it threw the chain and broke 12 cutters off.

Sorry again Matt
Ouch!!!!

And the agony of defeat ....
And a broken chain. ..
I have been there too, stuff happens
My friend :nusenuse:

Y'all ever seen a grown man tear up?
What amazing friends I've made over these last few years.

I'm still just stunned.

Good Morning Gentlemen.

I hope that boy in the CT scanner is OK.

Looks like you guys had a great time. Can't wait to see what you guys upload today.

Looking forward to the next one.

I missed you Al. Next year is gonna be the second week in October. Be ready.

Looks like there were so many folks there I've been looking forward to meet it would make my head spin.

For the few GTG's I've made it to, I was more interested in seeing everyone that the saws came second. Hell, I can cut wood anywhere and anyday. Seeing the good friends I've made is what it's all about for me.

When the October '17 MM GTG is planned, can it be a Friday and Saturday event? One day doesn't seem to be enough.

Any interesting saws that stood out yesterday?

I didn't run too many saws Al. I ran Deet's hybrid, and Dallas' hybrid that Canadian farm boy did. I ran one of Jason's saws that Heath had.

They were strong saws, but the two saws I enjoyed running the most were the big Echo that @hseII brought, and the two man McCulloch that I dug out of my barn.

This was a two day GTG. When I went to feed my calves Friday morning the Missouri Chainsaw Mafia was standing around over there looking for someone to race.

Next year we'll do about the same thing, only with pork butts, deer, and beef on the smoker. Too much work having to kill and scrape a whole pig.

I'm thinking we had 70 - 80 folks counting kids and locals.

Was that poulan a gift to randy? If so the person or persons behind this are truly great people.:campeon:

Yep. That was a gift.

There's a 50 page conspiracy PM that a bunch of members were in on.

The first saw I ever owned was a sand cast Poulan, and I collect them. These guys really blew my mind when they handed it to me.

@Definitive Dave was the ring leader. @Milkman31 supplied the saw. @Glock37 did the powder and cleanup. Modified Mark did the restoration. @Hedgerow came up with the 7/16 pitch chain and filed it to a razor's edge. Dozens of members were in on this. :)
