I’m in NY and all my glocks are standard 5.5 lb. pull.
I put a 3.5 lbs. connector in my 22, took it back out. I didn’t see any appreciable accuracy increase and I’d rather have consistency from one Glock to the next.
I bought one with the NY spring, very easy to change.

Mine all have the original connector. I actually shoot better with a somewhat stiff trigger pull. I think the "New York" trigger pull comes from an NYPD requirement that their guns have a heavier than stock pull, hence the NY1 and NY2 trigger return springs.

241 can only pull a 16" bar. Can't pull the 18. LOL

I hope you're kidding. Mine pulls the 18" just fine, with 7t picco and 7t .325. I keep assortment of bars and sprockets for it. It's a kit!

Try a NY1 spring with a 3.5 lb connector. It's a pretty nice setup. I ran it for awhile.

My brother upgraded his M&P trigger shortly after getting it. Very big difference on that particular gun.

It’s a funky little thing that works opposite the original spring. Original spring assists, these resist. Increases pull weight. They’re consistent at least and if you get accustomed to them, you can still shoot well.
I believe the goal was to prevent LE accidental discharge while holding a suspect at gunpoint, finger on trigger.
