I think the 543 fell short to those expecting it to be the 242 reborn. But I’ve never run one so I am just ASSuming that’s the case. I’d wager it’s a capable sub 50cc saw.

I wish I still had the video of mine with a muffler mod that was tuned to about 14 grand pulling 68 drivers of .325..its didn't give up sh!t to a 241.

I would buy a 421 over a 543 just for price alone. I doubt the orange “redmax” is 150$ better. But I have no experience with one... I just think they priced it out of the market.
