Any body use the 5910 850 1100 Tach ? Does it do 2 and 4 stroke? What Tach would you recommend?

Thanks in advance

I use the OZ USA tach and hour meter. It has a wire but all you have to do is get it close to the spark plug or coil. I have 2 and they are both very close in reading weather hooked to the plug wire or not.

Is that the edt 7, 8, or 9
thats the edt 9
i prefer the DTI 20K for a handful of reasons, faster, better wireless range, replaceable battery, better warranty - but the DTI isnt really mountable on a saw, for that I would go with any of the sub $40 tach/hour meter combo units

I bought a chinese one on ebay for $7. Yes you have to wrap the wire but it's still going about four years later. :)
Is the particular model that you bought still available? I have a 20k but would like to have a permanent one, too.

I just keep it in my pocket and use it on multiple saws.
Good advice Dallas. I figured it out after I was getting weird readouts when I was touching the plastic. Got better results when I held it away from the plug by a few inches.
