The two gallon tru fuel cans id reuse as a fuel can. These go in the scrap pileOdd question but what are you doing with the empty cans?
Motomix is made with Ultra oil. No thanks.Or maybe stupid me. They changed the cans again. I grabbed the one without green because I never buy green. The new cans if you don’t buy green you don’t get oil. Glad I figured that out before someone dumped it in not noticing it’s clear.View attachment 487246
What you describe is Germans.. There is a book called "Am I Autistic, or Just German".Does Stihl have a Department of Complication & Confusion Creation?? (DepCCC acronym in the manual)? It seems like they are going out of their way to make things complicated which don't really need to be. Or if there is any doubt the cans should say that in letters so big you could not miss if you tried to. Lots of manufacturers nowadays seem to be making things really easy to mess up or ruin if you are not aware, and the labels don't help much. Even medicines print small print so tiny normal people can't read. If it is important, it should be made obvious and readable. I probably sound like a crabby old man, sorry.
Im still running Dolmar oil in my stuff but I run this in a TS800 I keep on my truck. Too many of these boneheads will fill a gallon gas can from a five gallon can and dump a bottle of oil in not knowing how much gas is actually in the gallon can then wear through the belt cover and burn the belt off. I try to idiot proof the situation but…Motomix is made with Ultra oil. No thanks.
No, Aspen 2T fuel is not with undyed 2 stroke oil. The oil was yellow in the past and now it is red. It is clearly visible and the Aspen 4 stroke fuel looks clear like water.Aspen fuel is mixed with undyed 2-stroke oil. They are competing for a similar slice of the European market as the Motomix, so it could be that Germany has banned dyes in the oil? Just a guess….
Ok I didn’t realize that they changed. The yellow dye made it look like regular pump gasoline. No, Aspen 2T fuel is not with undyed 2 stroke oil. The oil was yellow in the past and now it is red. It is clearly visible and the Aspen 4 stroke fuel looks clear like water.
Ok, I do you decide to I will pay you over scrap and pay shipping for steel cans in the 1 gallon and up size. The two gallon tru fuel cans id reuse as a fuel can. These go in the scrap pile
