Y ou guys need to get out more and cut up some hedge at dusk. You wills see some sparks.At like 7 seconds you can see a spark fly in this video, I wonder if it's off the bar or what.
I just cut that whole “leg” off the chip deflector. It then allows a 9 pin to fit. It does not affect the chip deflector from staying put.One more note on the 7900, clutch is extended out from the saw a wee bit and as such, rim sprocket made contact with the plastic chip deflector built into the clutch cover. Not a big deal, but did require a bit of attention.
