Thinned the wheel on the Simington but probably not enough. Figured I could always thin some more if needed after getting some more advise. Still struggling but after reading I understand it is better to error on the high side but give up some durability.
Trying to avoid making too much of a beak.
I’ve left the angles on the dressers where the previous owner had them but notice I am getting quite a bit of slope on the side plate. He was supposedly a timber faller and said his chains cut good at that setting.

I haven’t touched the rakers so they may need some attention as well.

Thanks in advance for any more advise you guys are willing to give.

Problem now is I’ve not got a lot of wood to be cut.

Still go thinner! Like this pic. If its too thin just dress the side till you get where you want. I sent @dall about 6 or 7 pics when I was thinning mine before he said good! Post a pic of your wheel profile.

I think you’re just too low in the corner and that’s causing it to hit the straps. The intersection line is about 1/32” low to me.

Intersecting line is low and looks like you are sharpening a chain that has a sharp top plate angle because you are not touching the edge of the cutter and if you do get it to sharpen the cutter will be thin
You need to roll the chain further into the wheel
Where are your arm settings

Might help if you swap the washers back where they were also.

Thinning the wheel will drop the corner. You’ll need to drop the arm slightly or advance the chain and set the lateral stops further out to catch the corner perfect. Right now you have a pretty serious top beak.
