Stihl ms880 carb kit

Fired up my MS880 the other night to make sure she was ready to go for the
run against the MS881 i just got. The MS880 hasn't been run in who knows
how long. Well she was running fat rich. Flooding right out. So i'm in need for
a carb kit. Who can tell me what kit goes in this Tillotson carb, I see some kits
on ebay but i would rather an oem kit. i also see some new Walbro WG-12-1 oem
carbs. What carb is better for the MS880, Should i switch to Walbro?

I run a walbro on my 088, I bought it while I was waiting for the tillotson kit to be delivered.
It runs well enough that I left it on. I believe that the tillotson is more sought after though.

RK-28HS for the Tillotson HT-12

1124 007 1060 is the STIHL part number.

I would stick with the Tillotson. I pulled the Walbro off my 780 and switched to the Tillotson

I have the WG-11, WG-12, and RK-1HT kits in stock, waiting on more of the 23HS.
If you have an HT-1, 2, 3 or 8 on your MS880 the RK-1HT is the right kit.
