A friend dropped of a ms362 that just started flooding out and won't stay running. Can get it to start if you hold throttle wide open and it will pull revs just won't idle and will have to hold throttle and will be flooded again just after it dies. Is there anything I need to look into specific or just pull carb and check it out?

I am pretty sure carb model. Haven't dug into it yet but it has holes in the cover for high and low adjustments

Get in there and see that the needle lever is level with the top edge of the carburetor. Check the diaphragm and check the tune. Buy a few Stihl OEM rebuild kits.
Good luck!

Yes. Timing advance 6-10 degrees (0.030”) as well.

Fix your problem first though. Wt carbs can be difficult to tune. It’s possible the L and T are just way off. I’ve seen that several times this year.
