Do you have a video of what your saw sounds like with the pipes? I am interested to hear the unique sound, as I was thinking of doing almost the same thing.

It breathes out all three ports. Originally I only had the 2 pipes on it. I sent the saw to Al to have him do some porting and he installed the red97 deflector.
I should also mention that its also got a 044 carb on it.

Love it! It's a wicked little saw. Always makes me smile when I run it. I'm bringing it to the CT gtg in a couple weeks. Your more then welcome to give er a go if you'd like.

The ebay 026 cover showed up .,Has an odd tube inside to redirect exhaust exit ,is this for making it quieter ? I have not stated it yet ,but looks quieter than the modified 3 port stock cover i had .I am on a quest for quiet saws these days so this may be a good thing ?I may add a tube inside my 660 mill saw if it makes it quieter . The angle of the exhaust exit looks like will keep exhaust residue off the saw ,Just noticed no screen ,maybe the tube is for spark arrestor ?

The cover was not wanting to pop into the muffler can ,so i tapped it a little with wooden handle of a hammer ,it popped in but dented the front a little .

Looks like it will strangle the saw a little. I would be apt to put in a red97 port on the opposite side.

The outlet in the front cover is blocked with a flat piece of sheet metal in place of a screen.

I like a nice clean muffler mod. I know......you just wanna get more flow. But it can look really good too.

I usually just put a big ole @Red97 deflector on the fly side and call it a day. I pry the deflector open for more area.

The tiny front hole doesn't really need plugging. The old path of least resistance thing, it won't exhale much through it.
