Stihl FS 131 with KW sweeper or something similar??

Hey Guys,

I just purchased an FS 131 for trimming brush but would like to have the lawn sweeper attachment for removing gravel from my lawn. I opted out of the Kombi system because of the lack of bike handles for the more serious saw blade I need for trimming. In doing so, I can't use the Kombi sweeper. Has anyone found an attachment for a non-Kombi style trimmer like the FS131 to perform lawn sweeping?

Maybe only the attachment KB or KW or from the multi system the KB-MM, KW-MM? I don`t know if it is possible to convert the FS 131 for that.

You can buy a separate head and gearbox version of the KW or the KB for your trimmer. You just need to remove the screws holding the trimmer gearbox, remove the trimmer head, and install the sweeper head and gearbox.

Have you done this or seen it done? I would like to try it. on the stihl usa website they list both the kw for the Kombi and the head only I believe. the gearbox however, I haven't found on their site. do you have any leads on where I could find these parts?

Don’t know about the sweep but I hook the saw and hedge attachment to my fs91
