Stihl bar plate

I’ve noticed the bar plate on my 462 and 500i are THIN! Does anyone know if some of the older, thicker style bar plates will work? If so, doEd anyone have the part number so I can order from my Stihlership.

I saw a video on Donny Walkers YouTube channel where he was talking about them and said Stihl switched back to thicker ones on the newest saws. Not sure if he says the part number its been awhile since I have seen the video.

1128 664 1001 is thicker. Fit just fine on my 462 and 500i.

Yup the thicker bar plates will work. Gordy from west coast saws posted that a while back, I think he used an 066 bar plate
