Stihl 441C-M rebuild

Got it back together and running but when i engage the chain brake it instantly turns off. Could there be a short?

Sounds like the clutch drum springs are worn or the drum bearing is shot

so it turns out that the plate between the worm and clutch was backwards...oops.

but now with cahin brake on it lowers throttle and eventually putters out?
