Stihl 064 Cylinder Question

Hey fellas
Going through an 064 right now for a rebuild.
Cleaned up the cylinder and it looked great.
No transfer and bore looks good EXCEPT:


That little bugger of a ding.
The plating around it looks fine.
Is it ok to use or am I looking for a new cylinder?

This is casting flaw. I have seen this before on stihl cylinders. Nothing wrong with runing this.

As long as the piston slips by(looks like it will), I don't think you have any troubles here.

Plating looks fine around it so it was probably a bore defect before plating. Run it!
