That's pretty bad but I've seen worse put back into service. Are the seal and bearing pockets solid? From what I can see, they look ok.
I would consider sealing the crankcase up with something so further deterioration is discouraged. I have a 390XP case that was pitted
about that same amount inside but Glock37 powder-coated it and now it's good.
What causes this? Corrosion?
I have an old 064 case, one half has a bit of flaked paint but its in pristine shape, not a single dimple. (not for sale just comparing)
