ben to get your carb set on it start with these settings i pulled this from the 041 owners manual
H side 3/4 - 1 turn out
L side 1 - 1-1/4 turns open

Did you disable the flood limiter on the carb? Those things tune and run much better after that.

I don't know where that even is. I do have a spare 181 husqvarna carb I could bolt on there, see where she goes. Lol

It's the big brass flat head screw on the outside side of the carb. Unscrew it and use a little piece of pop can or gasket material to block of the passage and tighten the screw back down over the top of it. The brass screw itself is a pressure valve that allows fuel to flood the carb at wot.

Ya know I never seen it when I had the carb out, it may not have one. I deleted the one on my 281 and she is strong.
