Should I remove and chamfer it? Also I noticed the transfers have sharp edges, should I chamfer those? Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Best to check the intake timing first. It might need filled in after proper prep.

Sharp edges on the intake port window mean nothing if they never touch the rings. Same at the transfers. Tinny bevels are best. Crumbs might come loose so best to remove them. If it is plated it won't move most times unless you have a big booger hanging out.

It’s smooth on the inside along the cylinder wall, it’s like a casting bleb that got milled and plated. I’m going to check the timing once the piston arrives…. Thanks.

Well if you wreck an intake just fill it in and start over. If you wreck the exhaust by width you roached it.

The rest you got some wiggle room so start ruining pistons to get started. Just buy a box of four and get on with it. Your not cutting the base or band so it got real simple for you. Go find your numbers first. Then decide where to go with it.

Thanks, that sounds like a great plan. I’m a little meticulous about these things but not afraid to mess up; as long as I know I messed up… lol
