1974 Stihl 015…. True survivor, well, except that I don’t have the original bar

Beautiful saw man! I might have a bar if you're looking for one.

Got the same saw in about the same condition and to get the original bar may be a struggle.
You may know already I did a lot of research on mine because I thought it was missing the
trigger lock but your one and mine are not. the same model came out with and without a trigger
lock so if anybody tells you it is missing it's not. I have put up some photo's of mine.
By the way this is the original bar on that saw.

Nice, I have one too that needs the recoil fixed, it's not as nice, but I do think it's got the original bar

Chucked a new aftermarket piston and rings and crank seals/bearings in this one

You could almost do a rebuild with just a bar spanner on these. Open head screws galore

My eyes see that "Stihl 015 l" label.
But yet at first glance, the brain converts it to say "Stihl Diesel" inside my head.

Unfortunately I've never been able to get it to run on Diesel

Be good if they run on diesel but in saying that it is dearer than petrol here in New Zealand at
the moment.

There's a few of those that have been on CL for awhile here. Asking $150 and say they're runners. Orange ones and white.
