Sthil 090AV?

I belong to a few forums and try to use the search function first but didn't find the answer I was looking for so here goes. If I'm looking at an 090av besides the obvious with the av mounts, is there another way to ID it? I picked up a Stihl couple of weeks ago what I thought was an 090 but when I first laid my eyes on it, looked a lot like an 090av but had the top cover plate saying 090. So can the top cover could have been swapped out or converted to an 090av. Thanks!

Measure the bore.​

Acres says 66mm.
I think there are other cylinders that may have fit that chassis so that would always be something to check out.

If it has AV mountS it’s a AV. Here’s an early one.

It's the first pic you got there. So maybe the top cover got swapped? No big deal if it has.

Remove the top cover and look at the decomp lever, If it is going left to right it is
an 070 if it is going front to back it is an 090, 090 also has a 6 shoe clutch as well
as a larger recoil. Post up some pic's.
