Square ground chain

I’m looking to buy some square ground chain off a grinder from someone that knows what there doing. I have always used round ground chisel chain but I have a upcoming faller certification class and want to try some square ground. I’m looking for 114 driver 3/8 .050 full skip.

I could sharpen a chain for you, but I only stock full comp square 3/8, so I can’t make up a new loop.

My class starts November 29. I need to see how many loops I have of stock square ground stihl. I could flat rate them to you. Do you have any I can purchase? I’m just looking for a good faller grind not race chain. I’ll mainly be cutting pine. Thanks for the reply!

Gotcha. I don’t haven’t any skip…I only run full comp. sounds like @farminkarman has you covered though. It would have been hard timing wise for me. If you guys aren’t able to work something out shoot me a pm.

Yes I did attend my certification class. I just used my regular round ground chain. I was thinking the same thing. The class was a success. I was 3 of 15 that passed as a C-faller.
