Thank you Piter, even though I am not sure what Mikes website is, a google search for Solo 600 revealed quite a few infos and I agree with this assessment. Looks like a 600 alright.

I haven’t checked the saw out yet but it looks alright doesn’t it. So if anyone is interested in it, shoot me a PM.

I notice there is a used 615va carb on eBay that says Tillotson on the cover plate but no other information.

Hello all. Hoping someone can confirm OEM carb for Solo 681? Walbro I know...I got nothing else for sure.

Thank You
Solo 681 Carburetor for Makita 7900

^for future search reference for folks googling.

Still not sure of the exact Walbro model, but found the correct Solo part number for 681 oem carb and ordered one from somewhere in france for $55. Solo Part Number for carburetor listed on 681 schematic is 2300862.

I am unsure if I am still fighting a flooded crankcase or not with a 7900. If so, I will swap on the Solo carb and see how it goes. I think it might be a HDA-10A. Will update this post once I see the stamp marks on the carb. Unknown how long until (or if) it will be in my hand.

Was going to get a Solo filter as well but they don't look like they'll fit under the Dolkita cover so I chickened out.

Husqvarna 372 carbs bolt right up to 7900. Only difference is hole in choke shaft is bigger on 372 carb

Yep. Have looked into the various methods for replacement. Being that the Solo is a sibling, I figured it would be a good option.
