Thank you Piter, even though I am not sure what Mikes website is, a google search for Solo 600 revealed quite a few infos and I agree with this assessment. Looks like a 600 alright.

I haven’t checked the saw out yet but it looks alright doesn’t it. So if anyone is interested in it, shoot me a PM.

By its serial number it's a SOLO 600. The sticker probably just went AWOL.
There has been a very similar model SOLO 631 which was the successor of the 600 and who's early samples look like a 600, but their serials start at about 70000
