Both knives are excellent the sheath's from condor are second to none
J&V are stainless and the condor is carbon steel so it has to be cleaned and maintained
I don't I like the patina when carbon oxidizes

Had to fly to Canada to collect the kids from their grandparent's place, and didn't want to check a bag. I'm never without a knife in my pocket, so the plan was to pick up a cheap knife and leave it at my mom's for future trips. Got this Buck Maverik 251 at Canadian Tire for $25 (about $17-18 US):

I don't know why I like the look, but I do. I like the feel too. It is about 8" total length with a liner lock.

It wound up coming home with me...

I was going to get one for my boy, because he likes it too, but the US version (the Langford) is different:

Lesson learned. Always buy 2!

It didn’t stay at your mom’s very long. 😁

Neat little knife, perfect size for just about anything. I have the Cold Steel version in my hunting pack.
I went and looked at the newer version at the store and really liked it. however i wasnt going to pay 400 for it. i watched ebay for a while and this came up with some scratches on the blade from the kydex which dont bother me. i got it for less than 200 and its super sharp. it seems like a pretty perfect knife.
