I've been carrying my Kershaw Livewire for awhile now, and have been pretty happy with it. Holds an edge well and the otf action is satisfying

I have carried a pocket knife for as long as I can remember, starting with a Barlow knife when I was a kid. The Buck knife on top I had carried since I was 12 or 13. My dad bought it for me when we started hunting together. After that, whenever he saw a knife that he liked, he'd buy 2, and give me one when I visited. Usually an inexpensive Buck or something like that, but one year it was a Laguiole knife, like the one in the middle. That's his...my horn handle didn't hold together as well as his, and when I got it, I started alternating it with the Buck.

He gave me the Benchmade knife on the bottom on his deathbed. He said he saved it for me because he couldn't afford 2 of them. That's the one I carry now. It holds an edge better than any other knife that I have had.

Made these for the kitchen from SS Russel Green River Blades, bear tooth paring 4" (top) and spear point paring 3", and brass riveted osage orange staves.

I've got more blades and staves to make another set.
