I like the old ones too. 272 xp. Just recently got a 288 xp. I’ve got several more but the 2 series does it for me. I like them better than the 3 and 4 series.I like Husqvarna, love the older ones . Run a 254 xpg and 242 xpg as work saws.

I ran that 288 today for maybe the second time. I had the starter off previously. I never tightened the screws back up. I lost all 4 of them. Lol I’m pretty proud of that one. RI Chevy will like that.Great saws!
I Would really like to get a 288, but they are hard to find up here...

Burned and oiled with care, not an axe, do not know the english word for this tool..

IF you don't like it......I know someone who would.Back to the Axe porn... here's a 4 lb. Collins. I think it is a wide bit Delaware pattern. Need to chop with it a bit more to see if I like the profile.

You don’t dig any steel for wedgin ? All wood?Ox head I bought 30 years ago for log building. Wonderful piece of steel for shaving and scarf joints. Not for heavy duty chopping tho due to thin profile. I would handle the head a bit lower on the shoulder nowadays... didn't know that 30 years ago . I'd ditch the steel wedges also.

I’m diggin that axe. I wish a store round here had them. I’d like to at least fondle oneJust to taunt you Jake!
