One of you fellas was looking for a Stroax. There’s one a heavy one on eBay now. I can’t find the old post or I’d quote you. It’s just the head an it’s already at lol 100 bucks. But it’s a nice lookin one.

I'm on the fence about driving the metal wedge in it...... tempted to run without for a bit and see how it goes.

Looks great. I haven't seen an ax like that with a pointed/angled line on the poll. Maybe they put it there so no one uses it to hit anything?

yeah I have no idea about that poll either ??
now if I can learn to put a nice edge on it I'll be happy !

I need to buy a puck, I want to try one.
I have used a file (if needed), I have a 600 grit diamond plate(lack of a better way to describe it) I also have a leather strop that I haven't used on any axes (yet)
