How many Jersey heads do you have Dave?
Just a couple by far the hardest ones for me to get.
I know where dozens are but they are not for sale.
Single bits are easier double are the most common.
People collect them here too
That's why the not so pretty one's i usually can get lol

I like the not so pretty ones better myself. For me the older the better, and the steel is better imo.

dave you cut a nail in your piece of wood
I can find nails electric fence insulators tools and any horseshoe ever left to grow into a tree.
Doesn't matter if im in a residential area or the middle of nowhere i will
Hit something.
But only with new chain I've discovered.
That's hickory the owner said there was never a nail driven in to it.

Inevitably, every GTG it's my chain that finds the metal in a log. Last year it was a bullet, moved 8" over to try to cleave off the metal ridden part for everyone and hit another.

Forgot about bullet's lol
By far the worst thing I've ever hit
Was in a big maple tree middle of the woods on a ridge had a good angle onto a flat.
So i faced it no problem.
The back cut made it damn near half way through then bam my cutters
Were ripped off most of the 24inch chain.
Moved the back cut up a few inches at a time.
Finally over a foot high from the first cut i dropped it.
It was a harrow tooth i knew it as soon as i saw it.
Not near any fields homes or anything but it was vertical in center ofharrow (1).JPG that tree lol
Here's a harrow for the city folk.
The one i found was spike shaped over 14 inches long.

In a oak at my sisters house.
The barrel is sticking out of the tree lol
