Thanks, working on some new axes, takes time been oiling the handles everyday for several weeks now, going for a mirror finish on the handle Just for fun

It is a boat varnish type of oil,

Ahhh. OK. I use WATCO Teak oil. Probably the same stuff. Good for exterior usage.

Scandinavian oils are tough stuff, ment to last a looong time

He uses Watco Danish oil. I use it as well, and like it a lot.

That looks great. I have never really tried to get that shiny, so I can't say if watco can or can't do it.

This Watco Teak oil does get nice and shinny. I have hand rubbed several coats on some handles and they look awesome.
