I've been doing the same thing but after watching the Hoffman video that got me to thinking......I store mine with head down, handle up resting on a 2x6 piece of wood. Leaning up against a wall.
But maybe I should hang them by the lanyard type hole? [emoji848]
Did he mention why that is the way the way they should be stored?I was wondering how you guys are storing your axes ???
I was watching a Hoffman video and he mentioned hanging them by the hole in the handle is how they should be stored. Thinking I need to get busy and start getting mine hung up !
Maybe helps keep em srtaight ?Did he mention why that is the way the way they should be stored?

he did not mention that I recall.... I can only assume to keep the handle straight ?? I have a 60's something Collins in the garage right now that appears to have never touched a piece of wood including the original sticker on the head as well as the handle, and the handle is as crooked as a dogs hind leg, again I'm assuming from being stored leaning against something. I could be all wrong here with my redneck logic ??Did he mention why that is the way the way they should be stored?
