yes I think somthing fishy going on, I just looked and.... View attachment 233354

Before the update on the 30th, the UK wasn't there, so no shipping available from our post office.

I've found that eBay shipping calculator is rarely accurate for international private carriers.

I lost money selling on eBay, so I stopped using the calculator. I do all my sales with shipping included that I calculate myself.

that greek guy is a dick. had a piston listed that fit a partner s65. domed piston from factory, tapered squish band as well. piston shows up and its a flat top. he couldnt understand why that wouldnt work. refused to refund, so i gave him negative feedback, then he banned me from making further purchases. piss on that guy as far as im concerned. sorry, rant over. lol

I decided to give it one more try after saying I was gonna cool it. Ordered two cheap items from China so I guess if I don't get them it won't hurt much. I also ordered a piston cylinder kit but I ordered it from the USA...

Shipping on the piston kit is down to $51.40. Still too high. [emoji37]

$20 would be in my wheel house.

Well, the two I ordered from China were failures but I got refunded. I ordered an intake boot for a Husqvarna 385xp and ended up with one for an 038. The second one got mailed out but their post office sent it back to them after about 3 weeks so they just refunded me. My wife ordered a tablet from a guy in the US and I think he might have been a scammer because she never got it. I'll have to see about a refund on that one. Oh, I did get the piston cylinder kit from the Duke..

I ordered a clutch drum that will fit the Solo Twin from Garden Supplies in Italy on the 6th. The drum was $31 and shipping was $50. That is stupid shipping on that part but there is nowhere else in the world that advertises one.
Nothing for two weeks and then I get notice that it’s shipped. They’re using DHL Express. I’m tracking it and it’s on its way. I’ve received two orders from a fellow I know in Germany last week. DHL is only offering Express shipping services there and they picked them up and the USPS delivered them here. Took about a week.

We can wait for the shipping to come back down.

I wouldn’t use DHL for squat.

Sears used them at one time. Look what happened to Sears. [emoji2960]

DHL, they ripped me good on a tiny part coming from Italy, cutting wheel for a porcelain tile score/cutter. Part was $39. but ended up costing me $140. landed here, they play the importer/broker card and charge triple what the duty is plus shipping charge. Never use them unless no other option available.
