By the time they're done arguing over what to/not to do the wood will have no value, and it will be up to mother nature to take care of it. Saw plenty of that in Montana. If that were in Germany, it would already be harvested, stumped, cultivated and replanted. Thing that surprises me the most is the people that profess to love the trees the most, took zero effort in trying to keep them alive. Surely if those folks there put their thinking caps on and worked together a solution might have been found, possibly. As long as your yard is green and your car is nice and shiny, I guess it's all good. To think, those goofs actually want to secede from the Union.
