Selling firewood costs

I charge $280 for a stacked standing dead oak t-tag load withing 10 miles. It's $300 for up to 20. Over 20 I charge according to time and fuel. Its a little more than a cord. 160 cu feet. Cut split and stacked all at once. Less labor etc.
Fuel/oil/ time.
I can do 3 a day if I start early. Most times it's one or two.
I figure roughly 6 gallons of fuel for truck.
.5 and mix for saw
1 for the splitter .
Roughly $40 for fuel and mix
$5 for files/chain
$40 for the truck
$195 in my pocket.

About $45 an hour for me...lol

Nah, instead mail him a letter(the fancier more official looking the better) of the notice of intent to lien his property. Whether you are or aren't doesn't matter as usually you will get paid what's due just from the "notice" letter.

Put an ad in the local buy sell for free wood at his house, help yerself.
Or find out who his employer is and hound him,,, employers dont like that.
I had a bobcat business and peeps wouldnt pay,, calling the employer was the best tactic.

I thought that too with his number on ther i was gonna cross it out but i dont really care if his numbers out ther lol.
His latest after that message was he worked 19 days straight and must not have time.

So what did you say to ther employer when you called? If you dont mind sharing. I know where he works.

I was also thinking who knows if jim is even his name. If he planed on screwing me he may have given me a fake name.

I just said is Jim there he owes me some money,, after a few calls they get annoyed.
