The CS600P is a great saw.Have you ever worked on any Echo's? I wonder if they make anything decent today.
I thought the only Stihl he had was a 361As I recall Nikko kept a heavy Stihl around for just such purposes.
Yes, that's the one. LolI thought the only Stihl he had was a 361
I wish they made a good big saw.The CS600P is a great saw.
Well the Echo 1001 is very much a older production saw. It is a 100cc saw from the late 1970's.Why don’t they offer the large echo in us? Emissions?
Haven't had too many problems working on my echo saws here in Alaska. I've always received free service manuals to download and good parts availability from at least a half dozen companies.Have you ever worked on any Echo's? I wonder if they make anything decent today.
I had the opposite experience of what you described. I spent the $2000 on a new Stihl 881 for milling. I didn't like the saw at all, for a multitude of reasons. It was no milling saw.Well the Echo 1001 is very much a older production saw. It is a 100cc saw from the late 1970's.
The 1201 is the newer version of the 1100 which became the 1200. It is still being sold outside of North America. I believe the primary reason is emissions just like why the Stihl 070/090 stopped being sold here. Also in all honesty there just is not much demand in the USA for them.
If folks are actually going to spend $2000 on a 116-120cc saw here they will go with a 3120 or 880
My opinion is the Stihl 070 and Echo 1201 still sell elsewhere because of course no real emissions laws and they will burn a more wide range of shall we say "fuel quality levels"
the 361 was 12.6 pounds weigh it against your huskies in the 60 cc rangeYes, that's the one. Lol

Are you developing a mental allergic reaction from over exposure to Chainsawz? Mebbe a change of scenery and or environment will alleviate some of that "HATE". I would suggest you concentrate on some of yer other entertaining pastimes and let them generate income to support the Fambly. You seem to have a following of friends thet want you to branch out into the PIGGY RENTAL perfession.I hate ALL chainsaws !!!!!!!
