Here is my set up. I use the 4 wheeler most of the time.

Why?
Because of what I listed?

If so, no I don't pack out in the wood but do I occasionally spend the whole day sun up till sun down clearing bushes.

I just listed what can fit in a simple backpack, I rarely gear up like that - a good supply of water is required though, especially during the summer!

How do you get your wood out of the bush. Atv?

Tractor and (home made/custom) tractor trailer!
I get the wood home when I accumulate about a trailer full.
The trailer can hold about 3 cubic meters volume.

There is not a lot of big wood to be gained in bush clearing, thus it can take a few hiking trips to make it worth firing up the atmospheric 2500cc diesel.
