how close in weight is the 041 compared to 066 ?
Go back in and raise the intake 2 degrees..It won't run like yours but it should go good
I have it at 101.5/122/78, oem piston with windows smoothed out and new cabers.
It's easy to try.
My dad just got the 041 farm boss that my grandpa bought new,i have never ran it but it's a very nice clean saw. Retarded heavy but Kool looking.
16.3 lbs with 15'' bar and chain according to the manual and can run a 15-25'' bar uses the same mount as the large stihls. and here is some other info it is 61cc 44mm bore 40mm strokeDon't know but it's feels like it's about 10lbs heavier.
im running the rakers low on the chain and it doesn't seem to mind, a aggressive chain doesn't bother it and i might get a 25'' and see how well it will pull it.Jake, that's one case where a 60cc saw may perform better with an 8 tooth rim. That whole 44 over 40mm thing has to have gobs of torque. Kinda like red97's little echo with a 24 or 28 on it
Red hot!Yes they will work.
I started looking at durations just as much as numbers, they have to work together instead of an individual set of numbersI just bought a new WJ-10 for the 064.
I am disappointed I can't get the Bing 49 fixed up but a WJ is going to a lot easier to get parts for going forward.
I also want to get it running with a period model carb.
I also want to keep the 064 as an 85cc so I doubt it will struggle to supply fuel.
Now..... @Hedgerow
What is your thinking behind the change of intake from 78 to 76?
Not questioning you at all..... I want to learn from you guys and its the "why" in the journey that interests me as much and having a red hot saw.
