It won't run like yours but it should go good
I have it at 101.5/122/78, oem piston with windows smoothed out and new cabers.
Go back in and raise the intake 2 degrees..
And raise the transfers a bit.
Let us know the difference.

When I get it running I will test it and then put a bit of apoxy in the intake to get it back up to 76, see what it does.

What's the reasoning behind that?

I am not after a speed demon. The wood we cut don't respond well to super high chain speed.

Think of oak as your softwood

Don't know but it's feels like it's about 10lbs heavier.
16.3 lbs with 15'' bar and chain according to the manual and can run a 15-25'' bar uses the same mount as the large stihls. and here is some other info it is 61cc 44mm bore 40mm stroke

Jake, that's one case where a 60cc saw may perform better with an 8 tooth rim. That whole 44 over 40mm thing has to have gobs of torque. Kinda like red97's little echo with a 24 or 28 on it

im running the rakers low on the chain and it doesn't seem to mind, a aggressive chain doesn't bother it and i might get a 25'' and see how well it will pull it.

I just bought a new WJ-10 for the 064.
I am disappointed I can't get the Bing 49 fixed up but a WJ is going to a lot easier to get parts for going forward.
I also want to get it running with a period model carb.

I also want to keep the 064 as an 85cc so I doubt it will struggle to supply fuel.

Now..... @Hedgerow
What is your thinking behind the change of intake from 78 to 76?
Not questioning you at all..... I want to learn from you guys and its the "why" in the journey that interests me as much and having a red hot saw.

What are the opinions on a 1201A 064 unlimited flywheel with the aftermarket 1300 coils?

@Definitive Dave 's thread says this:

1122 400 1201A – 064 for use with Bosch ignition, unlimited coils
1122 400 1300 – 064, MS640 unlimited, Bosch E1-V “dogleg” mount [87.1ipl]

I am taking if from this info that the common 1300 coils should work?

I started looking at durations just as much as numbers, they have to work together instead of an individual set of numbers
