I've been fighting a few saws trying to get the low side tuned like I want,finally set ignition timing back to stock and fixed that problem. They lost some snap piss revving but if anything gained a little bit in the wood.
They don't sound as mean but they are.

A tab, but there may be differences in exhaust and intake restriction that will change the way the motor runs

I pretty much do the muffler and airfilter all the same,the saw screams at
102.5 123.5 77 and maybe 185 to 190 on compression.

Transfers are where power is made or lost,if there right the exhaust and intake can be here or there and still run bout the same.

I'm learning that it's not necessarily the height of the port but more the shape and direction. I never built any saw to a set of numbers, I always let the cylinder tell me where it wants to be,numbers here and there and all run pretty much the same.

It's a good running saw.
A video always sounds like less rpm than in real life. It's kinda spooky to hold wfo and let it self feed,makes my hair stand up.

this is where it ended up... main top cover is in very average shape, but air filter cover is brandy new...not pictured....but you can imagine

I got Canadian farm boys 066 here,I done the machine work on a cylinder and sent it to him and he's got it running good but he wanted more so here we are,I ran it with my 2 best for a base line and I'll see if I can improve on it.

I'm running dall's 066 now then I'm done.
4 good running 92cc stihls.

Dall's is a decomp 066 and cfb is a 660 with a no decomp cylinder.
Only my 066 had a better cylinder than the decomp on dall's. It was the best one I've ported.
