I got a 064 cylinder comparison thread I'm gonna do next week hopefully.
I have a mahle, ks and a aftermarket ks clone that are all stock,I'll check timing and compression, I will cut the base on all three for a 020 squish with a gasket.

I'll do cut times and see what we got,I'm very excited about the fit and finish of the aftermarket cylinder.

I ride hard and put away wet. Do tend to give them a nice fluffy towel though. The only saw I can take out of rotation is my 026 it's goin' down for a wood port I did on the original cylinder. She's on the third one. The main thing I focus on is the sharpening jig. Got it all down and waiting to get into the rotation on the CNC.

spencerpaving let's see some pic of the Matt Marks hotsaw sometime, dude. Sorry I don't have any time to get in here and mentally punish any of you pussies, but I do care.
Is it possible to get a thread on the sharpening jig ? I would like to see this .

Well after 8 straight night shifts I will finally get a few free days to myself! I haven't been motivated to get my projects completed lately. Between home issues, parent issues and work it's been just way to much! Things are starting to get better. I have my 272xp that's all powdered and awaiting a new life! I'm meeting up with @Glock37 on Wednesday and he will help motivate that build! Have had all the parts for months just sitting! Aww shoot forgot to order a Meteor piston from @definativedave! Well that will be the only part needed. I'll take a bunch of pics and post on Wednesday!

I can't remember what I cut from the chamber but it had 190lbs of compression, 98 119 82

Much higher exhaust than normally used for a work saw but it works.

I tried it at 105 and it ran good but it felt held back so I raised to 98 and lowered the intake to 82 and it was a big gain.

Gettin' her buffed out, Brian. I've waited thirty years for it, what's a few more days????

A sharp chain is on of the best mods you can do .

Stihl Sawing said Gologit was the best mod he ever did.....

You guys still grinding on saws? Crazy just crazy, take good saw parts and ruin them. :)
lightweight saws are the future, personally I have as goal to reduse the weight a tad on my saws, its not for me, I feel sorry for my tractor who has to carry uneeded weight!
