Got the rest of the housewrap on and windows installed. Also installed the back door, and sheathed the front gable end. Maybe start on siding, window trim tomorrow.
Thanks for the compliments.
I just wish things would move a little faster.
Been out of town. Back again and this is looking great!Made some progress today... Reframed the bathroom and front bedroom window openings, filled in the framing above and below the windows in the addition, reframed the front window openings to match the actual size of the windows I bought (oops), started on the housewrap, and installed 8 of the 11 windows. Should get the rest of the housewrap and windows in tomorrow, and start on the siding.

Had to do some excavation on one side of the house before we could start on the siding...

And also started the siding on the other side of the house. Doing T-111 on the sides/back to save time & money. I’m going to be putting Hardie shingles on the front gable ends to give it a little more curb appeal.

I had thought about doing some stone or something... but I decided to just fill in with siding instead.

I do have drainage issues, and I will be dealing with them sometime in the future. As low as the house is compared to the neighbors, are you worried about more water issues? Really going to set off the hood.
