The Chinese chainsaw has a slightly better chain and guide bar, and the load is about 3m³ 😎👍 perfect weather for November

Found this down by Wheeler Dam.
Looks like Red Oak and something else I’m not too sure of.
BTU’s nevertheless!🤩

The bigger tree is still needing attention, and my 36" bar will only cut just over half of that oak at a time.

You get those trees we talked about down?

28" used on the latest drop. It didn't quite make the entire width, about 3-4" short. The longer bar wasn't with this week.
And the @srcarr52 tickled petro burner just laughed at it.

Helped out a family yesterday put up 8 cords of firewood. We had a crew of six adults, 10 kids, and two log splitters. IMG_0071.jpegThis chunk of maple gave me an excuse to drag out the ol XS394. The 42” .404 setup is way better than the 37” .375” I used to run for trunks like this.

I have a 42” 3/8 setup I have tried yet, I may need to switch to .404.

Weren’t you trying to sell that recently? If so I bet you’re glad you kept it
