I am relieved to be retiring from the tree industry. Been a good run.

I was offered a job operating a bridge saw for a granite and marble outfit. The pay was right, the hours are wonderful, and it's very close to home. What’s next?

I was also offered a job working at my high school as an automotive repair instructor. Our schools still have some vocations. I have an extensive automotive background and being an alumni helps. Also close, regular hours, fair pay.
But for the moment I'm going to take some time to myself. My mother is very ill, I am going thru health issues myself, and I need to take a minute to breathe. It's been rugged for a minute.

Thanks Aaron, I appreciate the kind energy.Lot of times it’s hard to find a minute to breath as we’re all so busy now days. Unfortunately our bodies often remind us to breath in there own ways. Wishing you and the family all the best in your tough time right now.
I am struggling myself with the work situation. My dad tells me to do what will give me the most time with my boys. He says you'll blink twice and they be your age and you don't want to regret not spending time.I was offered a job operating a bridge saw for a granite and marble outfit. Alot of the weight behind my decision to change fields was my little girl. I dont remember my dad being around much. I'm out of the house before the wife and kid are up, I come home and the baby is going down for bed a half hour later. Just broke my heart.I am struggling myself with the work situation. Sorry about your mom, I'll keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers.
Build a fire in the middle of 'em...tend it round the clock.I'm thinking covering 20 citrus trees is going to be PITA, but I don't want to risk losing a bumper crop of oranges and mandarins to ice.

I think it's actually 'visqueen', but I grew up mispronouncing it like most other words when you grow up southern. Lol.
Then what do they think comes from an Ayrshire??14.2 million Americans think chocolate milk comes from brown cows.

I think all of the time. I am sitting here thinking what a chair would look like if our knees bent the other way. Many people refuse to think at all.....
It's rampant actually.
