What’s next?

I was offered a job operating a bridge saw for a granite and marble outfit. The pay was right, the hours are wonderful, and it's very close to home.

I was also offered a job working at my high school as an automotive repair instructor. Our schools still have some vocations. I have an extensive automotive background and being an alumni helps. Also close, regular hours, fair pay.

But for the moment I'm going to take some time to myself. My mother is very ill, I am going thru health issues myself, and I need to take a minute to breathe. It's been rugged for a minute.

I am struggling myself with the work situation. My dad tells me to do what will give me the most time with my boys. He says you'll blink twice and they be your age and you don't want to regret not spending time.

Alot of the weight behind my decision to change fields was my little girl. I dont remember my dad being around much. I'm out of the house before the wife and kid are up, I come home and the baby is going down for bed a half hour later. Just broke my heart.
