I don't know the whole history behind this mess but if you read the thread I sent you imagine being treated like that after all the time he put into making this site awesome.

I'm not quite sure what your trying to say. All I meant was there was probably stuff that happened on here before I joined that I don't know about .

An oem 500i piston kit costs as much as a FORGED 550 Suzuki piston kit for my Bearcat Widetrack wood hauler.

Discussion was about the "Light" bars not being lightweight, or something like that.

Not being a Stihlhead I took notice of the post but didn't memorize any of it.

Now I want a closer look at the info posted but can not find the post as I do not remember what thread it was in.

If someone knows what post I am talking about please provide a link to it, or quote it.

I was afraid the site finally got sold to whoever owns AS now.

If I was supreme secret puppet master of the USA I'd ban ads, and make people have to browse a phone book-like catalog of businesses if they want to shop for services and things they don't or do need.

The problem is adds are how some places (like this site) get some of their funding to keep going.

It is true that awhile ago the holding company that bought AS attempted to make an offer on this site as well as the Mange site. I know it was unsuccessful on the Mange site. As for this site I believe it was also unsuccessful but @Gentleman can confirm.

I hope you realize that catalogs, phone books, yellow pages, newspapers and their ads, television and their ads, and other communication forms have never been "free".
