I had to Google that!

For the time being I am happy to report that my bowels are quite resilient to digestive "challenges". :)
I had a colonoscopy. My FIL had a colostomy. This has made me very pedantic about what I sign at the hospital.

I'm having surgery on Oct. 1st and I'll be on medical leave for the rest of the year. I'm pretty sure I'm going to officially retire in January. It's takes all I have to make it through a workday nowadays. Even though I don't work that hard anymore, just being on my feet all day really makes my back hurt.

A few of the old loggers I worked with back in the day were in similar shape. A guy that helped break me into timber cutting was 61 at the time and had been cutting for 39 years. Some days he would crawl back to the pickup. I realized that was what I didn't want to do. I got out of cutting when I was 42.

Yep, coworkers that go to lunch earlier ate yesterdays spoiled meat stew and got bowel cramps and the $#!ts!

If it had happened to me I'd be on company paid sick leave for a month and dare them to ask me why so long.

Edit:
Turns out that AM shift workers have the poops, meaning the stew came spoiled straight from the catering restaurant.

BET that the catering company is really feeling A Case of the "$#!ts"! in their bank account.
I was working in KCMO and there was a GUT WAGON/Food Truck permitted to vend in the side parking lot. Some one found a BAND AID in their sandwich.
they lost their customers and either relocated or went broke over the deal.

ENHANCES the ESP..
It happened at my wife's family's annual
Halloween party/bonfire. My mother in law had raised Habaneros that summer and my father in law was saying they were so hot no one could eat one. At the time I did not know what they were and heck I love a challenge so I grabbed one. I bit in half and ate the first half while the juices got on my lips and fingers. I finished it and then took a leak next to the barn. It was not long before I realized the errors of my way and headed to the house for a glass of milk. My wife came in to see what was taking so long. When I came back out I was met with a ton of laughter.

I deserved it!

A friend left the party on short notice. We couldn't find him and he had the cooler with the beer and dogs. WE called his folks and they let us know
he had an accident and was in the shower .. when he showed back at the party the bon fire was jut right for cooking hot dogs. My brother brought him a dog in the bun then asked him if he wanted some Grey POOP on it.. His response was priceless Down cast eyes and "F%ck U "I miss those days ...

Friend was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm while undergoing an MRI for stroke related symptoms.

Turns out she had it for years. They are still trying to determine what to do about it.

You never know what you might have going on in your body unless you have it checked out.

Sometimes we never know....my wife's Grandpa came in from milking cows in the morning and told his wife he did not feel well and needed to take a break. He sat down in the recliner and that was it. The school nurse came down and pulled my wife out of our 8th grade class to tell her that her Momma was on the way as Grandpa was gone. .... He went peacefully at least. His wife lived a good long time later and our son's were at her bedside as she passed.

The random thought is. ...I hope we all can meet the our Higher Power on peaceful terms
